The Sky Watcher's Diary describes the month's observing highlights, with emphasis on naked-eye objects. If you have the catalog number of a celestial object such as a galaxy or nebula, but don't know its coordinates on the sky, try this handy tool: Search for an object in the NGC or IC catalogs Need help finding an asteroid?
