Welcome to the Guest Observer Portal for the MicroObservatory online telescope network! Now you can explore the universe using working telescopes that you control via the Internet.

Each of our Guest Observer Activities allows you to investigate the universe from the comfort of your computer screen. Like a professional astronomer, you’ll need to choose a target to observe, set the exposure time for the telescope’s camera, and hope for good weather tonight!

Once you make your telescope request, your selected image(s) will be taken by one of our network telescopes tonight or tomorrow night. You will be notified by email within 48 hours about how to access your image on the web.
